The Department of Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology), Karpagam College of Engineering, is organizing a Club Inauguration for the Micro Masters Club, Chip Crafters, FPGA Innovation Club, and VLSI Research Club.
Four VDT technical clubs were inaugurated on 02 September 2026. Tejaswiini Sristi from Aadyon AI Robotics was the resource person. The clubs promote workshops, projects, research, innovation and industry-oriented learning.
The four newly inaugurated technical clubs are:
Micro Masters Club
Chip Crafters
FPGA Innovation Club
VLSI Research Club
The event was conducted under the esteemed guidance and encouragement of Dr. P. Karthigaikumar, Principal; Dr. S. Sophia, Dean-Academics; and Dr. A. Rajendran, Professor & Head/VDT. The programme was coordinated by Dr. C. Arul Murugan, AP/VDT; Mr. S. Manikandan, AP/VDT; Ms. Sayahna R V, AP/VDT; and Ms. M. Deepa, AP/VDT, who played a key role in organizing and facilitating the inauguration programme.
The inauguration was enriched by the presence of Tejaswiini Sristi, Robotics Engineer, Aadyon AI Robotics, Coimbatore, as the Resource Person. Through these four clubs, students will be encouraged to participate in technical events, workshops, seminars, hands-on training, design challenges, project development, hackathons, research activities, innovation initiatives, and industry-oriented learning programmes.
