The Department organized a Partial Industrial Delivery for the course 23ADR506 – Deep Learning during the odd semester of the academic year 2025–26. The sessions were handled by Mr. J. Surya, Member Technical Staff, Zoho Corporation Pvt. Ltd., and were spread across four full-day slots (totaling 24 hours).
The event focused on providing students with both conceptual knowledge and hands-on experience in advanced deep learning topics such as optimization techniques, dimensionality reduction methods, autoencoders, and ensemble learning strategies. Each day included theory sessions in the forenoon and practical lab sessions in the afternoon, ensuring a balance between learning and implementation.
Purpose: To provide students with practical exposure to Deep Learning concepts, tools, and industrial applications.
Activities Conducted: An expert interaction session was organized with Mr. J. Surya, Member Technical Staff, Zoho Corporation Pvt. Ltd., Tiruppur, covering industrial practices and applications of Deep Learning.
Highlights: The session facilitated interaction between students and an industry expert, providing insights into real-world implementation, emerging technologies, and career opportunities in Deep Learning.
Outcome: Students gained practical understanding of Deep Learning applications, industry expectations, and relevant technical skills, enhancing their readiness for industry-oriented projects and careers.
