The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science successfully organized a hands-on technical programme on Quantum Computing, introducing students to the transition from classical bits to quantum bits (qubits) and the fundamental principles of quantum information processing.
The session was delivered by Mr. T. Rajan, Lecturer – Computing & Engineering, University of West London (UWL), RAK Branch Campus, UAE, who provided valuable insights into quantum computing concepts, quantum gates, quantum circuits, superposition, entanglement, and emerging real-world applications.
The programme enabled students to gain practical exposure to quantum computing tools and strengthened their understanding of next-generation computing technologies that complement Artificial Intelligence.
